The Hoover Wind Tunnel T-Series At a Glance
Power: Ample enough to clean your entire house from top to bottom.
Attachments: A versatile set of attachments that makes cleaning easier and more streamlined.
Durability: Hoover’s are built to last. ‘Nuff said. 😉
Ease of Use: One of the biggest complaints from the review of users of this Hoover vacuum cleaner is that the brush feature has to be turned on and off when going from carpet to hard floors. Compared to the Dyson DC 25 vacuum with its ball technology, it’s not quite as easy to push and pull.
Health Certification: The self-cleaning HEPA filter, with its lifetime warranty is great at doing its job. However, it lacks the extra boost of being certified asthma and allergy-friendly like the Dyson vacuum.
Cost: A great vacuum cleaner for the money. The following link takes you to Amazon where you can read more about the Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Upright Vacuum.
When it comes time to pick out and actually buy a new vacuum cleaner, you certainly want it to be the very best vacuum cleaner for the money that you can possibly afford.
After all, a good vacuum cleaner does keep your carpet, furniture, and drapes looking newer and fresher for longer, right?
One thing we know already is that Hoover has been around for a long time and has always thrived on a solid reputation.
The Hoover Upright T-Series vacuum comes as no surprise then as being a winner.
It uses Hoover’s patented wind-tunnel technology providing powerful suction power to ensure your floors get super-duper clean.
The WindTunnel technology theory was unveiled in 1997, and was at the top of the innovations of vacuum cleaners then. But now, we have the WindTunnel 2 technology which adds another air tunnel to trap dirt and dust so there is no chance of it escaping. This means your floors, drapes, and furniture will be cleaner than before with less effort from you.
Two air tunnels mean double the power. Turn this vacuum on and see its power as it uses its powerful suction to grab the dirt, dust, and pet hair, then funnel them through the self-cleaning patented HEPA filter and into the clear bag-less container. And since the container is clear you’ll see when it needs to be emptied without a problem.
No more losing suction power because of an overstuffed bag.
No more buying vacuum cleaner bags.
The power is automatically shifted from the brush feature to the long-hose turning the brush feature off when you place the vacuum into the upright position.
With its 5 adjustable height settings you’ll always have just the right height for your floors.
The attachments for the Hoover vacuum include a 12” long extension piece, dusting brush for furniture, upholstery, or drapes, a hand tool, and a crevice tool. These attachments are handy for the tough to reach places.
Hoover’s vacuum attachments are certainly top-notch. Hoover calls them the “real-time tool system with a tag-along grip.”
The vacuum belt has a lifetime warranty. Can’t get better than that.
Hoover has always had a high standard and this machine is no different. It’s built to last. Everything about it is solid, efficient and easy to use. Even though this Hoover weighs only 16 ½ pounds, it’s built of durable and long-lasting materials.
When you buy a Hoover, you know you are purchasing a vacuum cleaner that will last for years.
Minimal assembly required. Just take it out of the box.
Ease of Use
One of the things I noticed when going through all the reviews was that people loved the 27-foot automatic retractable cord. It’s so convenient for going room to room without having to stop, unplug, and find another plug-in to finish vacuuming.
The flexible, eight foot hose lets you reach from top to bottom of every nook and cranny in your home without having to bend or stoop. And if that isn’t enough reach for you, just add the 12” extension wand.
There’s minimal maintenance involved in caring for the Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Upright Vacuum vacuum cleaner. All that’s required is to rinse the filter when the indicator light tells you it’s time to clean it.
This Hoover vacuum also features a bumper that won’t scuff your furniture when they come in contact.
It’s simple to change modes with the fingertip controls. And the see-through no-bag dirt collector container means you’ll never again lose suction from a bag that’s too full.
The brush, used for hard floors, cleans wood or tile surfaces quickly and without the hassle of having to stop to attach another tool.
I do have to tell you this though… When comparing the Hoover WindTunnel T-Series Upright Vacuum with the Dyson DC 25 Ball vacuum cleaner, the Dyson comes out ahead with the “ball technology” that Dyson incorporates into its machines. You hardly know that you’re pushing the Dyson, compared to the Hoover. 😉
And another comparison I just happened to notice…
This Hoover machine has a self-cleaning HEPA filter, but does not have the “asthma-friendly” certification from the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America like the Dyson DC 25 upright vacuum cleaner does.
Compared to the Dyson DC 25 unit, the Hoover Wind Tunnel T-Series is much less expensive. But in doing your research, you’ll need to compare the features that are most important to you and your family and decide if the price difference is worth it for the Dyson.
Either way, you’ll get a great vacuum cleaner for the price.
